Title: Geospatial Analyst
Job Location: Bowie, MD
Hours / Week: 40 / week
We have immediate openings for qualified candidates with great spatial analytic skills, attention to detail, excellent stereo acuity, and the ability to work in a team oriented production environment.
Job Description: Candidate should have a thorough working knowledge of NGA based products that include but are not limited to TLM, UFD, and/or DTED. The analyst should be familiar with photogrammetric mapping workflows, should have the ability to digitize data and also be able to perform quality assurance/quality control procedures on post digitized data. Applicants should be able to provide input for process improvements to Project Managers as well as guidance and feedback to other team members. A working knowledge of GIS software such as SOCET SET, ARC GIS, Intergraph Z/I, and or Dynamo is preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen. Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
Minimum Education: B.S. degree
or equivalent
Major Field of Study: Geographic Sciences or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least 2 years
of feature extraction and/or stereocompilation for NGA geospatial products.
