The Photo Science Team has extensive experience
providing imagery acquisition utilizing the latest in airborne
digital cameras as well as providing a wide range of geospatial
products via digital imagery. Over the past several years, Photo
Science has made significant investments in digital camera technologies
and can support virtually any engineering effort.
Photo
Science offers two digital aerial sensor technologies to acquire both large
and medium format imagery. Our digital capabilities
include the Z/I Imaging Digital Mapping Camera (DMC)
and the Applanix Digital Sensor System (DSS). In addition
to acquiring black-and-white, panchromatic imagery, each of these
cameras is capable of acquiring multispectral imagery by simultaneously
collecting both visible light data and information within the near
infrared (IR) portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, providing
full color and false color (color IR) imagery, respectively.
In addition to the hardware and software utilized
for digital imaging acquisition, Photo Science also provides highly
qualified and experienced remote sensing specialists who are involved
in all aspects of each digital acquisition project, ensuring proper
project planning, acquisition, and processing of digitally captured
data. These experts are also available to assist our customers
in utilizing this information to ensure they are getting the
maximum value from their digital imagery.
